It’s been a tradition now for the YBNL honcho, Olamide, to drop an album towards the end of every since 2012.
As expected, Nigerian rapper and YBNL leader, Olamide is planning to drop his 6th studio album in six years.
The yet-to-be-titled album will be dropped before the year runs out as he looks to continue his annual streak.
However, Olamide has promised to make his 6th studio album 100% hip-hop. He promises to deviate from making music of any other genre beside hip-hop. The rapper cum singer has been under backlash for venturing into singing and not keeping it real with hip-hop.
In his words, ‘We don’t stop the best of me. It’ll be a hip hop album this time, no experimenting, just rap. I’m doing this for the culture and hardcore fans.’
Olamide has released a studio album every year since his debut in 2011, when he dropped Rapsodi.
His other albums include YBNL (2012),Baddest Guy Ever Liveth (2013), Street OT(2014), and Eyan Mayweather(2015).
