Atiku celebrates Nigeria amputee team over first world cup victory.

Special Eagles have finally recorded their first victory at the ongoing tournament.

The Special Eagles defeated their opponents
El Salvador by a lone goal scored by Ezeji Kennedy who is the first Nigerian player to score in an Amputee World Cup.

The Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar celebrates with the Nigerian team as they took the world cup for the first time.

He said:

I am super excited that Nigeria’s Special Eagles, against all odds, recorded their first victory in their maiden World Cup outing in Mexico. It is my hope that with greater support, they can only get better and soar like the Eagles they are.

Atiku was among those who donatated generously for the the team to enter into the world cup.
